About

DaibyDai is your go-to place for all things Natural Hair, Self-care and Lifestyle. What started out as my diary of travel and DIY results and products reviewed has turned into a movement with the mindset of taking things step by step and day by day through all aspects of life. Through this process of sharing stories about my natural hair journey, growing up and being in my early 20s, and traveling the world I took my own advice to take the next step to do something I’d always wanted to do… launch my own hair product! And in February 2020, I launched my very first hair product, the Hydrating Buttercream!

My goal with DaibyDai Hair and Beauty is to help others reach their hair goals, strand by strand and DaibyDai.

Whether it’s trying my products or reading my stories, I hope this site helps you in whatever the next step it is for you towards reaching your goals.

DaibyDai meaning

DaibyDai came to me a few years ago. Of course it’s a pun on the spelling of my name Daizha (pronounced like deja as in Deja Vu). I’ve always played with my name but DaibyDai really stuck with me because life is constantly changing and at times I feel stressed, nervous and overwhlemed when it comes to figuring things out. I always turn to my favorite scripture, Matthew 6:36 which says “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.” So literally, I must take things day by day because tomorrow is an entire journey of its own.

Fun facts about me:

What is a Daizie?

A daisy is my favorite flower

Dai comes from the spelling of daisy

Zha comes from the 90s group Zhane

Put them together and that’s how you get my name: Daizha

So a Daizie is what I call my growing “fanbase” lol or subscribers

Thank you! That’s really cool. Germany was awesome. I really loved the food. I went when it was really cold in the fall but I found it still so much fun.
