Greetings Daizies,
I recently tried 2 new SheaMoisture products for wash day the SheaMoisture African Black Soap Dandruff Control Shampoo and the SheaMoisture Raw Shea Butter Restorative Conditioner. I often use products from different lines based off what I need for my hair. So when picking the shampoo, I wanted to focus on soothing and control my itchy scalp. The shampoo aims to cleanse and soothe a dry, itchy, and flaking scalp. African black soap is excellent as a gentle cleansing, therefore a shampoo with that ingredient really appealed to my hair needs.
For conditioner, I love using raw shea butter in my DIY masks and wanted to try out a conditioner containing raw shea butter. I’d been interested in the raw shea butter line since the holiday season last year when SheaMoisture sells holiday kits. I was waiting for the day after Christmas when holiday kits are half-off, and there was not a box in sight. I was so sad, but finally went out and tried the conditioner I’d been waiting to try.
I’m glad I finally tried both of these products. I’m interested in trying other items for both product lines. For the African Black Soap line, I’d love to venture out into the skincare products. The shampoo was effective and I plan to use it again. I had a positive experience with wash day overall and captured both my process and thoughts on the products on my Youtube channel.
As always,
Shea butter is the best !

I just bought the ABS conditioner today, excited to try it out. It my become my favorite line from Shea Moisture
Loved, this post. I also use it Shea butter in my hair religiously. It’s the one thing beside coconut oil I found that works wonders with my hair.
